Saudi Railway Co. (SAR) transported more than 2.62 million tons of minerals and goods through freight trains during July 2025. In addition, over 1.10 million passengers were carried via the Haramain High-Speed Railway, the North and East network.
In its statement, SAR added that it contributed more than 11,000 hours of training, diverted over 124,000 truck trips from the Kingdom’s roads.
SAR also reduced the consumption of more than 11 million liters of fuel, and cut down more than 29,000 tons of carbon emissions.
