The Insurance Authority has submitted a draft amendment to Article 84 of the Executive Regulations of the Health Insurance Law through a public consultation platform “Istitlaa” until August 18, 2025. 
The draft amendment aims to achieve policies and objectives for the stability and growth of the insurance sector, contributing to financial stability, protecting the rights of policyholders, the insured, and beneficiaries, and encouraging, promoting, and regulating fair competition in the insurance sector, said the authority.
It added that the draft also aims to solidify customer confidence in the insurance sector, providing effective oversight and control to ensure fairness and transparency in the insurance sector, and develop the insurance sector in the Kingdom.
