Amana Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors appointed Rachid Abi Nader as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on July 29, after receiving the Insurance Authority’s (IA) non-objection on July 28, 2025.

Abi Nader brings over 25 years of insurance sector experience across strategic development, business planning, insurance program development, marketing, risk management, bancassurance, corporate transformation, and digital services, with a career spanning the Middle East, France, the UK, Europe, and the US.

He held senior roles including Chief Strategy Officer at Lebanese Swiss Insurance Group (Middle East), COO at The Risk Group, Lead Insurance Consultant at PwC Middle East, and Senior Strategy Advisor at Booz Allen.

Abi Nader holds a diploma in insurance science from the French National Insurance Institute (foreign section), dual MBAs from ESCP Paris and ESA Business School, a postgraduate diploma in digital business from Columbia Business School and MIT, and completed the CEO leadership program at Cornell University.
