Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, said it maintained its strong operational performance, ranking first globally among airlines for on-time departure and arrival performance, according to June 2025 report by Cirium, a platform specialized in monitoring airline and airport performance.
The carrier operated over 16,700 flights, achieving on-time arrival and departure rates of 91.33% and 90.69%, respectively, according to the report.
flyadeal topped the list of airlines in the Middle East and Africa for on-time arrivals, with a rate of 91.77%, based on more than 5,900 operated flights.
Ibrahim Alomar, Director General of Saudia, said achieving such high rates in on-time performance and maintaining operational excellence requires joint efforts from all sectors and companies within the group.
He added that this accomplishment directly contributes to realizing the goals of the Saudi Aviation Strategy, particularly in enhancing the overall guest travel experience.
