Al Battal Factory for Chemical Industries Co. said a limited fire broke out, on July 4, at one of the company’s facilities in Dammam, affecting the filling area, administration building, and the final product inspection warehouse. 
In a statemen to Tadawul, the company said that the fire was fully contained by the Civil Defense teams, and cooling operations and extinguishing of remaining hotspots are currently underway in coordination with the relevant authorities.
The incident resulted in one minor injury to an employee, who received the necessary medical attention and is in good health, the statement added.
The company confirms that it holds comprehensive insurance coverage of the affected facilities. Additionally, the company maintains sufficient inventory of finished products to ensure continued fulfillment of current customer demands, existing contracts, and expected future orders throughout this year, with no direct impact on the supply chain.
The company is currently conducting a full assessment of the technical, operational, and financial impact of the incident and will disclose any material developments as they become available, in full compliance with the disclosure requirements of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul).
Furthermore, Al Battal Factory indicated that a separate announcement will be issued at a later date specifying the timeline for the gradual restoration of production lines, following the completion of technical assessments and necessary safety procedures.
