Remittances by expatriates in Saudi Arabia rose by 21% year-on-year (YoY) to around SAR 15.2 billion in May, according to recent data released by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA). 
Compared to April, remittances also climbed by 21%, or about SAR 2.6 billion.
