US crude production rose to a record 13.47 million barrels per day (bpd) in April, from13.45 million bpd in March,theUS Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported today, June 30.
The EIAhad revised down slightly itsMarch output froma previous estimate of 13.49 million bpd.
Gasoline demand gained 145,000 to 8.91 million bpd, markingthe highest since October.
Distillate demand, including diesel and heating oil, dipped to 3.88 million bpd in April, versus3.89 millionbpdin March.
