Advanced Petrochemical Co.‘s CEO Fahad Al-Matrafi submitted his resignation, effective from July 31, the company said in a filing to Tadawul. 
Fahad will continue as an advisor to the board of directors until Aug. 31, 2025.

Meanwhile, the company appointed Mamdouh AlAmri as the new CEO, effective Aug. 1.
Al-Matrafi, who joined APC 17 years ago and has served as CEO since 2019, has over 30 years of experience in the petrochemical sector. He played a key role in advancing the company’s strategic goals, including the development and execution of the Advanced Polyolefins Industry Co. petrochemical complex.
AlAmri has also led major initiatives at APC, including the Advanced Polyolefins Industry Co. project and the Isopropanol project. He previously held several senior positions at the company, including General Manager of Operations, General Manager of Administration, and Manager of the Environment, Health, Safety and Security Department. He brings more than 29 years of industry experience.
