Bank of New York Mellon (BNY) received a license from the Ministry of Investment, to set up a regional headquarter in Saudi Arabia. The new headquarters will provide strategic, administrative, and corporate services for the bank.

In a statement, the bank noted that its current asset services for clients in Saudi Arabia include global custody, global risk solutions, FX custody, and institutional accounting, all provided under a Capital Market Authority (CMA) license.
