Morabaha Marina Financing Co.’s (MRNA) shareholders approved, in an ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on April 17, to file a liability lawsuit against the former Executive Managing Director Waleed Al Ghumlas.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that shareholders also authorized the company’s board of directors to take the necessary legal and regulatory actions in this regard.
In December 2023, MRNA’s board of directors accepted Al Ghumlas’s request to be a non-executive board member as of the decision date while maintaining his membership in the board, Argaam reported.
In August 2024, the company announced the dismissal of Al Ghumlas, confirming the violation of Article 12 (1 C) by the dismissed member.
