Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) agreed to acquire fuel distributor Primax from Grupo Romero in a deal valued at around $3.5 billion, Reuters reported, citing Peruvian newspaper Gestion.

The deal includes a payment of around $3.5 billion by Aramco, the report added.

Primax operates in Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador, with a network of 2,185 gas stations across the three South American countries.
