Making an investment decision without carefully reading the terms and conditions (TCs) or fully reviewingtheircontent may involve significant risks, the market regulator said in a statement today, Feb. 4.

The CMA also advised investors to thoroughly read the TCs, which provide detailed information about the fund, its investment strategy, and associated risk factors.

This thorough review, the CMA explained, will enable investors to assess the feasibility of the investment while considering the related risks. If the TCs are difficult to understand, consulting the fund manager for clarification is highly recommended.

The CMA’sapproval shouldnot be deemed as a recommendation to subscribe to the public offering. It merely means that the fund has met the legal requirements outlined in the Capital Market Law and its Implementing Regulations, the statement added.
