Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that a 25% tariff will be imposed on US products, in response to those announced earlier by US President Donald Trump.

Trudeau said in a press conference that tariffs will be imposed on a total of CAD 155 billion (equivalent to $106.6 billion).

He stated that starting from Tuesday, custom duties will be applied to goods worth $30 billion, followed by additional taxes on goods worth $125 billion within 21 days.
