Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb said that the target for hotel rooms by 2030 is 675,000, including 120,000 in Riyadh.

Speaking at a session during the Real Estate Future Forum, Al-Khateeb explained that by the end of 2024, the number of licensed hotel rooms had reached 475,000, spread across 4,000 licensed buildings.

He also mentioned that during a visit to the Kingdom, FIFA officials toured the hotels and confirmed that the Kingdom is fully prepared to host the tournament.
