Sahara International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) announced the completion of the scheduled periodic turnaround maintenance activities for Sahara and Maaden Petrochemical Co. (SAMAPCO) plant, according to a statement to Tadawul. 
Operations resumed on Jan. 8.

During the scheduled turnaround, all the required works were completed safely, which will enhance the plant’s efficiency, increase its reliability, reduce production cost, and allow it to achieve its future operational plans.
The relevant financial impact will appear in Q4 2024 and Q1 2025.
Sipchem indicated it has taken all the necessary actions to eliminate any potential impact on its customers.
Sipchem had started, on Dec. 5, the periodic turnaround maintenance of its affiliate SAMAPCO plant, adding that the maintenance process, which came in line with the company’s 2024-2025 business plan, data compiled with Argaam showed.
