The Ministry of Energy announced the results of the prequalification phase for license tenders to build, own, and operate natural gas distribution networks.
The tenders cover Al Kharj Industrial City, Sudair City for Industry and Business, and the first, second, and third industrial cities in Jeddah.
The ministry said qualified companies and consortia are required to submit their technical bids by April 23, 2026.
The list includes eight companies: East Gas Co., Natural Gas Distribution Co. (NGDC), Egyptian Kuwaiti Advanced Operation and Maintenance Co., Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO), Saab Energy Solutions Co., Seer Corp., Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd (BPCL), and UniGas Arabia.
