Electrical Industries Co.’s (EIC) subsidiaries, WESCOSA and Saudi Power Transformers Co., signed today, Sep. 16, supply agreements with Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) worth approximately SAR 198.5 million, excluding VAT.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the contracts will run for 19 months. Under the agreements, its subsidiaries will supply SEC with electrical distribution transformers based on purchase orders issued by the utility.

The company expects the agreements to have a positive impact on its financial results between 2025 and 2027, noting that no related parties are involved. The agreements are binding on its subsidiaries but not on SEC.

According to data available with Argaam, EIC’s subsidiaries, WESCOSA and Saudi Power Transformers, signed, on Sept. 11, agreements to supply electrical equipment to SEC with a total value of nearly SAR 785.5 million (excluding VAT).
